Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the FAQ page, where I address common inquiries to ensure seamless wedding day preparations. From travel and fees to booking previews and service adjustments, I’m here to provide clarity and support every step of the way. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have further questions or need more details. Your satisfaction and peace of mind is very important to me as I prepare to make your special day perfect.

Do you only offer makeup-only or hair-only packages?

I offer packages that include hair and makeup services for weddings. Anything outside of my packages would be a custom quote.

If you are looking for non-wedding-related services like photo shoots, special events, or commercials, please review my other beauty services section of this website for more information.

Before signing a contract, can I book a bridal hair and/or makeup preview?

Previews are included with my packages with a signed contract. I offer a "No-Contract Bride Hair + Makeup Preview" service to help you decide. If you’d like to experience my work before committing, please book a regular appointment for your upcoming special event. These two options will show you how we can work together on your wedding day.

Can I make changes after signing my contract?

Once you sign a contract, you commit to all the clauses and services booked. About four (4) months before your wedding, we’ll finalize the number of services together. While additional services can often be added, cancellations are not accepted after this period, and you’ll still be responsible for the originally booked services. Changes in getting-ready locations can be accommodated, with travel fees adjusted accordingly.

Can I book your service for my wedding, which is on holiday?

Of course, I often get inquiries from brides who’s special day falls on a holiday, even with a theme.

  • Non-Major Holiday Fee: $200 per artist for weddings on holidays such as the Fourth of July, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Easter.

  • Major Holiday Fee: $350 per artist for weddings on major holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

How long do you allow for services on the wedding day?

I allocate 1.5 hours per service for brides and 45 minutes to 1 hour per service for the bridal party. This ensures everyone looks their best without feeling rushed.

How can I guarantee that I will get my date?

Weddings are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. I receive multiple requests for the same date, so early booking is recommended to secure your spot.

Do you offer makeup and hair services for LGBTQ+ weddings?

Absolutely! I am happy to work with LGBTQ+ couples to provide personalized hair and makeup services for your special day. Inclusivity and diversity are important to me, and I'm committed to ensuring you look and feel your best.

When should I book my preview?

I recommend scheduling your preview 4-6 weeks before your wedding day. This timing allows us to perfect your look while considering recent changes to your style or preferences.

Do you work alone, or do you have a team?

I primarily work alone as an independent artist. However, if your wedding party requires more than six (6) services, I can arrange for other independent artists to assist, with additional fees applied.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I am a nashville based on-site hair and makeup artist and I will come to your hotel, venue, or home. I am also available for national and international travel.

Do you charge for travel, and are there any add-on fees?

Travel fees apply for weddings outside of Nashville proper (more than 30 minutes from my place) to ensure I can bring services to you no matter where your special day takes place. Valet or parking fees are also covered by the client per artist. Since getting-ready locations can vary from Airbnbs to homes, we don't charge for parking in those cases. However, if you’re getting ready in a hotel, the cost will vary depending on the location.

Is there an early bird fee?

The early bird fee is $100 per artist for start times before 7 am.

Do you have a minimum service requirement?

Yes, there is a minimum of four (4) services and a maximum of six (6) for a wedding day. Depending on availability, additional artists can be provided if your wedding party is larger. Please inquire for more details.

What hair extensions do you recommend?

I recommend Bellami, Zala, and Luxy clip-ins for added volume and style. I also specialize in sew-in and tape-in extensions for longer-term use.

Are your prices negotiable?

While I understand the importance of budgeting for your wedding day, my prices are set to reflect the quality of service and expertise I provide. Each package is carefully crafted to ensure you receive the best experience and results. I am committed to maintaining fairness and consistency for all clients, which is why my prices are firm. If you have any concerns or specific needs, please let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate within the scope of my services. Your satisfaction and confidence in my work are my priorities, and I look forward to making your wedding day as beautiful and stress-free as possible.
