Hey you!

I'm Cris, I'm so happy you are here. I am a hairstylist with 22 years of experience and still very education driven. This trade is forever growing and changing which is why I am still in love with it. In the salon I specialize in most colors, including lived in blondes, brondes, balayages, brunettes, color corrections, regular root touch-ups, and custom hair extensions. As a makeup and hair freelancer, I focus on weddings and creative beauty. Recently I find myself working exclusively with brides only and on the creative side I get to work on some awesome photoshoots and production work. On the personal side, I enjoy time with my senior pup, reading, watching movies and going to dinner. My most loved hobby is social dancing, but would love to get into pottery and jewelry making. I also love talking about astrology, birth charts, and anything in the metaphysical subject. I hope to see you in my chair or wherever you are!

My Journey

I was born and raised in Peru and moved to Boston at 7. In 2021, I relocated to Nashville, bringing a blend of my Peruvian roots and East Coast vibe. At 13, I decided to pursue cosmetology at a vocational high school, knowing that my calling was to create beauty and serve others. This career has exceeded my expectations, fulfilling me in ways I never imagined.

My Philosophy

While I am settling and planting roots in the South, my East Coast approach remains strong. I’m a "work hard, play hard" chic—focused, professional, yet soft-spoken with an empathetic demeanor. I love meeting new people, engaging in talk therapy through lighthearted gossip, and building lasting relationships while playing with your hair and makeup.

What do I enjoy doing most?

I get this asked daily, and honestly I enjoy it all equally. In addition to my salon work, I am an independent makeup and hair artist. I’ve had the fortune of being part of local and destination weddings, elopements, creative projects, photo/video shoots, and special events. While I enjoy the creativity of full glam makeup, my favorite look is natural, glowy skin paired with a bright or neutral lip, focusing on accentuating the eyes. I have loved every opportunity that has come my way, and I look forward to having more of it. Perhaps we can work together!!
